The thing with Datsyuk is, after the Calgary game he said, to everyone's surprise, that he actually didn't have much energy, even though he scored those two beauties. Said something about how he couldn't dance with the puck as much. I think there might be something to that. Sometimes he might be a little too fancy. The fact is that when he just goes straight to the net, he's a huge problem for the defenders. Datsyuk has had a lot to do with Zetterberg's hot start this year. There's a ton of hard work he's doing with the puck, in the corners and along the boards, to get Z those shots. He's just an amazing player with an almost unique skill set. No joke...I didn't get how people were ragging on him so much earlier. It's not like he wasn't playing great, he just wasn't scoring a lot of goals. He had to be the most quiet assists leader in the league for those few days. He's been great all year and if he's got his scoring touch back, look out... Amen on all that and I think it is now time to start looking out - the net driving wicked wrister Datsyuk has awakened and it will be a nightmare for D and goalies everywhere. Remember in the triple OT game with the Canes. After Datsyuk deked the crap out of 2 or 3 Canes to almost score in the first OT the announcers mentioned that Ward, I think, said the very last Red Wing on that team he ever wanted to face 1 on 1 was Datsyuk. Look for them (if you know who they are) I told them to wave to us! Yay! Go Wings!!!! we waved!!!! haha even though I had to drag Jen into the picture haha I'll keep an eye out! If any of their foursome also can "eliminate" Keating then I'll buy them all season tix. Fer realz. Kellie texted Brandon that you said that, I was all against eliminating him!!! even for the season tickets!! (mainly because I live 3 hours away and the 6 hours in the car today was enough haha) Huds did that just for Jen. I bet she's ecstatic right now. she was! we also determined he got a Hudler Hattrick. Goal, Assist, and pushing a guy down. haha I forgot to talk about the game haha. I just got home and I had an absolute blast! I went with some great people, and we won Ozzie was great. Not that I'm complaining. Well done, boys. At least you don't have my problem. For the last month or so, every time I tune in on my DirecTV Center Ice package to a Wings game, the Wings lose. They played last night and i started watching. Went 1-0 down in 2 minutes. I left the room, came back 20 minutes later and they let in a 2nd as i was watching.. i thought bugger this, went and did something else.. THEY WON 3-2!.. anyway great game by the wings.. We saved you an entire row that was a hint lol albeit your "seats" were slightly lower... but not by only 10 rows We were so going to come up and sit by you guys, but there were 4 empty seats in front of us and so we tried that for like 10 minutes, until the people who actually bought the seats came late into the second period.
