Guest Crymson Report post Posted November 30, 2007 Note that great teams CAN lose several games in a row. It's not just the Wings.

BeeRYCE 2 Report post Posted November 30, 2007 People labelled them the New England Patriots of hockey. I said they'd slump eventually all along.

Guest Canadian Wings Report post Posted November 30, 2007 People labelled them the New England Patriots of hockey. I said they'd slump eventually all along. No they didn't
Z and D for the C 712 Report post Posted November 30, 2007 Note that great teams CAN lose several games in a row. It's not just the Wings. Then the sens obviously are not a great team like the wings. The wings should win every game. The next loss I'm done with this team.
BlueMonk 102 Report post Posted November 30, 2007 The end to tonight's game really was crazy. Thought for sure the Sens had salvaged a point and then, poof! No dice.
FinRedWing 172 Report post Posted November 30, 2007 People labelled them the New England Patriots of hockey. I said they'd slump eventually all along. Yeah, they've won the biggie a few times like the Patriots. No wonder they're being compared to them. Then the sens obviously are not a great team like the wings. The wings should win every game. The next loss I'm done with this team. Someone should put this quote in his/hers sig. A true Classic.
edicius 3,269 Report post Posted November 30, 2007 Sens slumped like this last season at this point too, though.
Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted November 30, 2007 What a rollercoaster of a game that was. Oh well, better them than us I suppose.
irishtemper14+25 11 Report post Posted November 30, 2007 they've lost 5 in a row and lightning lost 6 in a row
Vincanni 1 Report post Posted November 30, 2007 On a surely related note they've also played a lot more home games than road games so far this, more than any other team I do believe. Of course their road record is stellar but with a big road trip coming up this could spell bigger trouble for Ottawa.
BeeRYCE 2 Report post Posted November 30, 2007 Seriously? No they didn't Sens fans around here, y'know... Biased bastards.

SweWings 45 Report post Posted December 5, 2007 7 in a row Uh-Oh They'll turn it around eventually. But right now the situation isn't pretty.
Opie 308 Report post Posted December 5, 2007 I am not able to watch their games unless the play the B's, is it goaltending, lack of scoring, all of the above?
MacK_Attack 108 Report post Posted December 5, 2007 I am not able to watch their games unless the play the B's, is it goaltending, lack of scoring, all of the above? Lack of confidence, I'd say. Goaltenders aren't making key saves, defence are missing easy assignments and scoring is often too late to matter. They'll turn it around soon and go back to dominating. sergei_is_still_a_wing 1 Report post Posted December 5, 2007 i still don't understand how a stacked team like OTT manages to lose a shootout against any nhl team let alone tampa. but hey, the wings suck D in SO and we are the best team in hockey at this point so who knows. Dallas still cleans up in the SO though. when bettman decides the SO needs to be in the playoffs is the year the stars win it all...
auxlepli 17 Report post Posted December 6, 2007 Well the Sens should be be breathing a little easier now. They when in a scorefest down in Florida last night, 5-4.
Opie 308 Report post Posted December 6, 2007 I am not sure that beating a bad Florida team by one and allowing 4 goals is reason to let out a sigh of relief, but as a wise man once said a win is a win is a win!
toby91_ca 620 Report post Posted December 6, 2007 i still don't understand how a stacked team like OTT manages to lose a shootout against any nhl team let alone tampa. It doesn't hurt that Tampa's top 4 shooters are Lecavalier, St. Louis, Richards and Prospal, who have 42, 34, 25 and 27pts respectively.
