I have always been a fan of Stoll going back to his junior days and Torres seems like the kind of forward the Wings need. There's a reason Stoll is being shopped, and Torres isn't worth the additional years left on his contract. Son of a Wing 1,644 Report post Posted December 7, 2007 I can't see much of a downside of looking into Stoll. He put up 68 points as a 23 yr old in his first full NHL season. Is a pretty solid two-way player. Can play the point on the powerplay if need be. Great shot. 2.2 mil is hardly overpaying considering this is the final year of the contract and hes a RFA after this season. It would be great if we could get Stoll or Torres for like a 2nd or a 3rd round pick or something, I just dont see Lowe trading away good young players like them. I can't imagine Lowe trading with anyone in the West unless they had a deal he really liked. This is all assuming they are available, which I doubt.
