55fan 5,133 Report post Posted January 1, 2008 This is such a win-win situation. We can find out if he has what it takes to make in back to the NHL. If he does, we know he'll be signing with the Wings; if he doesn't, it doesn't cost the Wings a cent to watch him and find out. No matter what our views and/or projections, I think it's great of Drapes to give him the chance to try. That's really all it is. It is now up to DMac. I have to admit that I don't have a great deal of rational hope that he has what it takes to come back to the Wings, but I do have the irrational hope. Sometimes, against the odds, dreams do come true.

irishtemper14+25 11 Report post Posted January 3, 2008 i really hope he makes a comeback too, and pretty much killing off grinder might play a big factor in if the wings look at him. that is if he plays well at flint
