Foote is still a presence for the BJs and they like him there. In fact, they want to sign him to an extension, so he may be harder to get than we think.. 2probert4 8 Report post Posted January 12, 2008 I have zero problem with him being from the Avs rivalry years. On paper he's what the Wings could use on the blueline. A big, physical depth defenseman. I just haven't seen him play in a long time so I don't know what his health and game is currently like. His value is increasing by the day, the Rangers are hot and heavy in their pursuit along with a couple of other teams. Foote may be a jerk, but he's a team guy and he would provide what the Wings lack and thats someone who will make someone pay for crossing the blue line, something we don't have on a consistant basis.
