I thought it was a decent game by our boys. Evenly matched from the look of it. Shame it didn't go are way but i'm not to upset about it. Our boys made a nice run at it at the end. They never gave up and OTT got lucky on the last goal. Danny was in the right spot at the right time.

this team is starting to remind of the coasting teams we've had the last few years. lately they don't play 60 minutes. in fact, tonight they played about ten. we've had it way to easy so far this season. maybe losing a few will get them working hard again. this was the most frustrating game of the year to watch for me. if you can't get up for the best team in the east, when will you? very disappointing effort.

Wings got completely outplayed in the first 2. They did not look like themselves at all. IMO 5 players showed up tonight for the most part, Cleary, Cheli, Lids, Drake, and Hasek. Besides them no one did anything till the third period. Nice little comeback though. At least it didn't stay 2-0 ya know?

We shall win the next one.

OH and we need major work on the PP.

we need a tune up all over the ice. everybody looks like they're just kind of going through the motions out there.

Nice effort from guys to tie the game and bad luck at the end. Anyways, we did play 1/3 of the game at all, not enough against teams like Ottawa..on the other hand it showed what we need for the playoff run..

I was really pissed after the 2nd, but in the end I am glad we lost just 2:3..

Well, it's official. The losing streak has started. I hope Babcock will get out his bud nippers, and do some nipping. One bud that needs to be nipped is ol' 37. Sammy needs to be of here. Everytime he's on the ice I am instantly angry...I know he is going to put in 100% of his 50% effort.

Babcock, what happened to the cleary datsyuk filppula line? Last time I checked that was a hot line. I might have missed it tonight being constantly ticked off for the first two periods.

Ok...it wasn't THAT bad!

They didn't play a great game, but managed to put up a nice comeback. Hopefully they'll pick it up next game.

I'm looking ahead to the schedule.. Atlanta, Vancouver, San Jose... All are dangerous teams and the last 2 are soaring lately. It isn't unreasonable given detroit's last two performances to expect losses in all 3 of those.

Wings are looking primed for a mid season collapse.

i could definitley see a bit of a mid season slump for this team. they've pretty well coasted through most of the season, they're bound to fall asleep sooner or later. i wouldn't mind losing a few to wake them.

Well, I wish they had shown up for 60 minutes instead of 12.5 minutes of the 3rd, but they didn't. Oh, well. No real harm done, nobody on our team got hurt, and we're still sitting pretty. The Sens had help from the refs, but they also outplayed the Wings. So credit where it's due.

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to say they need to put a string of losses together and they need more games like this because in the end it'll only make them better. They win so much that they sometimes take the other teams for granted and it shows. We need to face some adversity.

i would have been happier if the score were 2-6 or so like it should have been. it would been more of a kick in the ass. as it is, the wings will probably feel semi-good about their comeback. they don't have much to feel good about in this game imo. this could easily have been a blowout.

Score would of been a lot worse if not for your boy. Props to him at least.

did you watch the end of the Pitt/Atlanta game, shoot out? Crazy! Sid who? Lehtonen for Vezina .

I think I'd worry more about the Thrash than San Jose in the next couple of weeks.

82 games in a season… This is not football, you cant win them all.. On to the next game. Chillax. I have a feeling we’ll be alright. Put down the knife.

i agree totally. i wouldn't mind a few loses in a row just to let them know that they need to right the ship. we have so little to complain about this season. they've been coasting for so long that it's probably hard to get pumped. but if you can't get pumped for the sens, that's disappointing to say the least.
