Mad Max is a great player when he get's going, but this season he hasn't done anything very noteworthy at all, except not score. I've always liked his talent, so maybe a change of scenery would do him good. Buffalo management has apparently shopped him around at various points during the season. Afinogenov has great talent, but he makes way too many mistakes with giving away the puck. He'd immediately become the new scapegoat on LGW if the Wings picked him up.
