Ughhh, I hate when the games are on NBC. The NBC announcers are SO annoying! <_< Hopefully it will be a little better without Brett Hull though.

hell yeah one of those assholes is a straight ducks fan i could barely stand to watch the PO last year. brett hull was funny though, he always stuck up for the wings

Actually if they just left Jerome Bettis there from the NFL show he would be better than anyone else they have for hockey.

NBC will pick a "game of the week" out of 3-4 possible matches. Detroit isn't on every week, they are a candidate every week. Which means they will probably be on 2-3 times on NBC at most.

NHL on NBC

I HATE the NBC games. Did anyone watch the B's vs. NYR this weekend? The intermission 'show' is terrible. Brett Hull was the man...he said what needed to be said and was correct most of the time. Now it is Pierre McGuire and Mike Milbury. Pierre is an ass-clown. His idea of making a point is talking louder. At least when Mr. Hull spoke, it was from a players perspective, Pierre is talking from a ECHL coaches perspective. The other curious thing is why does NBC feel that because an announcer works for the Rangers or Devils they are the best in the country? Mike Emmerick makes me want to puncture my own ear-drums and his broadcasts are always riddled with mistakes.

If you want good broadcasters look to Detroit, the LA Kings or Boston's radio team. They are great, know the sport and provide insightful commentary.

Finally! Games that are on when I'm actually at home. I'm so pissed that Versus only shows games on Monday and Tuesday afternoons and that they usually involve Eastern Conference teams I don't even care to watch. I got the Internet working at home again so at least I can listen to Wings games if they're on the West Coast or on the weekend, but I can't wait to watch them more often. I think I've seen like four games all year and they've all been tape-delayed.

Well, living in Canada I don't get to see ANY Wings games unless they are on TSN or once in a blue moon on CBC. This NBC news is great :) If anyone knows a way to get a Wings game viewable on the PC somehow, please let me know!! I would LOVE to watch the Ducks game tonight.

I watched the Kings commentary last night and I was not impressed at all to say the least.
