Nero 20 Report post Posted January 28, 2008 (edited) Kovalchuks reactions have been priceless so far. Nice saves by Nabokov Edited January 28, 2008 by Nero
Wingfan191 2 Report post Posted January 28, 2008 Nabby just shuts the door in the 2nd and ROBS Kovy twince in the in the final minutes, hahah wow. Give him MVP right now, haha. That's how a goalie should play in the all star game.
HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted January 28, 2008 n't he? And to Manny for his work with breast cancer research and funding. Definitely. Atta boy, Manny! Hahaha Ilya is freaking awesome. Nabby robbed him twice in the last minute.
wingsfan75 2 Report post Posted January 28, 2008 Nabby single-handedly may have one this game for the west if the third period has anywhere near the same intensity as the second period.
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted January 28, 2008 Pronger, what a jack ass he is... **mutes interview** What in the world, they have a marching band on the ice for intermission??? Only in Atlanta, I guess. Hockey in the south demands a marching band and cheerleaders. Wow.

Then again, maybe Legace will be perfect, too, who knows??
NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted January 28, 2008 Apparently we're 10 minutes deep in the second period, because the commentator just said we were going to the ice level for half-time.
Z and D for the C 712 Report post Posted January 28, 2008 (edited) Shame the announcer's didn't even mention Datsyuk's great takeaway and pass on Nash's goal. Then again, maybe Legace will be perfect, too, who knows?? And how would that put the shine on ozzie? heh. Ozzie 5 goals, Legace + Nabokov 0. Wingfan191 2 Report post Posted January 28, 2008 Hmmm ok, now ESPN's box score shows Pavel at +1, Lidstrom still -2. I guess their first period box score was messed up, cause I didn't think Pavel was -4 in the 1st.

Lidstromrules16 7 Report post Posted January 28, 2008 Shame the announcer's didn't even mention Datsyuk's great takeaway and pass on Nash's goal. Seriously, I honestly believe he is overlooked because he is not as outgoing as Ovy, or Kovy or guys like that. I mean, without that pass, there is no breakaway, and there is no goal. Ozzie 5 goals, Legace + Nabokov 0. meh... it's hard to go first and be the starter, I think. Or maybe it's harder to go last, I dunno. Nabby had the middle stanza, least pressure, but he was also really good, esp. on Kovy, there's no denying that.

Thanks, Mac. I missed the entire first period, so didn't see anything. Looks like the West is awake now.

One team gets too big a lead, then the competitiveness kicks in and the other team actually decide to start playing. The effort in the third is always greater than in the first.
