Just imagine... Richards at 7.8 million, Khabibulin at 6.75 million, Havlat at 6 million... all that salary on a non-playoff team. Those guys are so monsterously overpaid, it's pathetic.

The 'Hawks best player is Jonathan Toews. They can't survive without him. It's pretty funny how a team has all that salary (as of now, Khabibulin and Havlat anyways), yet their best player is a 19 year old who's making the league minimum. That's not at all taking anything away from Toews... what's it's saying is Dale Tallon is a horrible GM for handing out all of those contracts for overpaid, underachieving, underperforming players.

I have nothing against Brad Richards, as I think he's a decent hockey player. But he makes way too much money, and if the Blackhawks got him, he'd only add to their underachieving, yet overpaid salary problem.
