haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted March 3, 2008 Pretty funny the Sabres are whining about a penalty shot after what just happened in their crease.
Guest Crymson Report post Posted March 3, 2008 Paetsch's play looked clean. I'm sure from the angles they showed that he used the edge of his glove. Anyway... if there has been one positive from this losing streak, it's that now we're appreciating our players and our team when they play well, and we'll appreciate the wins. Majsheppard 203 Report post Posted March 3, 2008 Write it down, second period of this game is when we turned the corner. Stuart is looking good, Kronner is looking great. Franzen is doing his thing, ValFil is playing like we all hoped he could. Hasek..... well... umm..... He is playing Hasek hockey. And Lilja!!! Way to sacrifice. Go Sweedish Rapist! dallas27 7 Report post Posted March 3, 2008 I think the Wings are allowed that non-call after all the bulls*** calls they have had this year.
Third Man In 2,091 Report post Posted March 3, 2008 (edited) Dom just needed to throw a bodycheck to get out the nerves and get into the game. That's what I was thinking. He's got confidence now. See? We were right! Let's finish them in the 4rd! Edited March 3, 2008 by Third Man In
Redwingsfan18 1 Report post Posted March 3, 2008 Well, finally we saw a period of Red Wings hockey. They actually played like they used to for once. This should be a good 3rd, I hope they don't sit back on this lead. Rather they should just keep on attacking and keep being aggressive. Kronner - Wow is he valuable to us. Lilly Pad...well, that was on heck of a save. And Dom...finally playing like Dom. Awesome.

Third Man In 2,091 Report post Posted March 3, 2008 Nice having kronner back, 4 points so far since being back. With Lids, Rafi, and Cheli out, this is Kronner's first chance in his career to really be the man back on D. Hopefully he keeps his level of play up this high when everyone is back in the lineup. FinRedWing 172 Report post Posted March 3, 2008 Kronwall's playing like he's wearing a team Sweden jersey. Loved Lilja's baseball slide, atta boy! Filppula gets #18 and Hudler with a pretty assist,IMO Hoodlum was excellent against San Jose too.
Yak19 303 Report post Posted March 3, 2008 20 minutes boys lets leave it out there i see us getting more and more confident in our play minute by minute
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted March 3, 2008 Lots of us have thought all along that losing Kronwall was a bigger factor in the losing streak than one might think. Smart move to lock this guy up in Detroit... he is showing his worth now that he's back on the ice. Lilja, yay! I love it when he plays the way he knows he can. No brain farts in the 4rd, boys, let's win this one!!
dallas27 7 Report post Posted March 3, 2008 I sold my soul to the devil to watch some actual Red Wing hockey. It is well worth it.

FinRedWing 172 Report post Posted March 3, 2008 Sammy needs 1 more SOG in this game. Then he'd have as much as Ovechkin's had in his last 3 games combined. Can't blame him for not trying.
NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted March 3, 2008 It'll be real interesting to see the way the Wings handle the first 5-10 minutes of this period.
