stormboy 47 Report post Posted March 3, 2008 Shots: 34-20 Detroit i agree. i hear a lot of people saying the wings need to shoot more. but they out shoot the opponent almost every game. people ***** about them passing too much, but it seems like if they are getting more shots, they must not be high quality shots. which maybe means it's not too much passing and not enough shooting. maybe. Sabres were not lucky, Wings were stupid... looked like something the Austin Ice Bats would have done. But I expect it from them. Hopefully, they decide to play hard and go get it back. dallas27 7 Report post Posted March 3, 2008 Ah, but with all the Buffalo players that piled onto Maltby while Pominville skated away with the puck, the whistle should have been blown due to roughing calls (with Buffalo in possession of the puck). Thus, the refs botched it by looking the other way yet again. Everyone realizes that if this happens to Buffalo everyone on the board is cheering that the Wings scored, right? The refs may have botched it but that is no reason to say it is their fault and it is certaintly no reason to stop following the play. The Wings players are at fault. Sammy). right, i agree. so maybe sammy needs to pass MORE while zetterberg and datsyuk need to pass less. i don't think anyone can really say that the wings as a whole need to shoot / pass more / less.
