He requested a leave for personal reasons (he had a similar leave with the Leafs awhile ago as well). He was granted the leave and was to report on March 1st, but hasn't shown up yet. He is currently suspended because of this. I haven't heard any actual rumours other than some media speculating that the truth probably isn't pretty. He's here in his hometown trying to work out marital problems that originated shortly before he took a leave of absence from the Leafs about a month ago for "personal reasons".
