Matt 1,049 Report post Posted March 25, 2008 You've probably already noticed that the forums have gotten some skin edits in tonight. The forums were unavailable from 10-11pm during the update. Tonight's update is purely cosmetic -- there are no functional changes this time around. (Also note that there may be some images that look slightly off -- that's okay, they're going to get updated shortly but I didn't want to have the forums unavailable while I did that.) Matt 1,049 Report post Posted March 25, 2008 Oh, I forgot to mention: Where the LGW logo is now will eventually be replaced by the "News Tab" feature that was causing loading problems before. Once I can get a good caching method enabled, it's back. I think the logo is a bit redundant, anyway -- I figure you guys have a pretty good grip on what site you're posting. Cicada 4 Report post Posted March 25, 2008 Looks great Matt.. i've just got one question though...before you upgraded the forums last time i was always logged in, it seemed to work via cookies... now it seems to work via Ip adress, since everytime my connection resets itself and changes IP i get logged out.. is this just a feautre of the updated forums, or is it a concious change.. anyway, it would be great if i could somehow go back to being how it was, although i understand if it not possible.. the whole site looks by far the best it's ever looked.. great job Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
