For the three who have NHL network...

I was checking the NHL Network listing to see if they were showing a hockey game tonight. They aren't. But they are showing the Top Ten Steve Yzerman goals at 4pm EST, for those interested and more importantly, those who actually have the channel.

Thanks, I guess I am one of the blessed few who get this channel, but I live in Tucson soooooo I get the channel but no other hockey fans to cheer with. It won't be the same watching the playoffs and not have the entire bar go crazy when the Wings score. Instead everyone's gonna look at me like I'm crazy. Won't be the first time

Tonight's game is on Center Ice and is also on the Center Ice HD channel.

Not here, it's not, VIB. Any game that is listed as NHLN-US is on NHL Network. That game disappears from the CI schedule if you have Time Warner (and possibly other cable franchises). TWC - Austin does not offer NHL Network, so we're outta luck.

At least this is the last one of the regular season we're losing. I don't know about the playoffs, does anyone know if NHLN plans to broadcast any of those, or are they Versus and NBC?

to the three of you who do get NHLN, enjoy the game! :hehe:

Lol!

I hate NHLN...damn capitalism. I am out of Detroit and used to be able to catch games on FSN Detroit but NOT anymore this season thanks to NHLN. I don't have enough moola or time to watch every game on NHLN and it's not worth the money if you watch about 1 game a week. Playoffs are for free anyway...

The NHL channel showed the Yzerman top goals show about a month ago and I have it on my DVR. They also showed around the same time, hour long specials (on each series) on our 2001/2002 Cup Run, breaking down each series - Vancouver, Colorado and our win over Carolina. For some reason they did not show the St. Louis series. It's great, it breaks down each game of each series. Have them all on my DVR too. My husband laughs, his DVR is all Law & Order and mine is 100% Red Wings.

That would be cool to see. I'll definitely be checking this out. There's hardly ever anything worth watching on the NHL Network. I'd like to see more classic games, myself.

I've seen that show before, and thought their rankings of his 10 best goals was plain idiotic. There were several that were ranked higher than where they should be, and several other great goals of his that weren't even on the list.

Anyway, it's still worth watching just because it's about Stevie Y, and each time it's on, I miss having him on the team more and more. It's always easy to forget what a talented player he was in his prime, before he achieved his God-like captain status, with leadership and playing through injuries.

yeah. And I think a lot of people who are Wings fans today never really got to see him play way back when he still had two good knees.

Harold didn't mean the game was on NHLN - he meant the Yzerman special was...

I set the game to record this morning on Center Ice and the Center Ice HD channel- FYI

As far as I know, tonight's game is not on the NHLN, but Friday night's game is. I'm covered. I have the Center Ice package, also the sports package on Direct as well as the NHLN, so I don't miss a game.
