sputman 1,268 Report post Posted March 27, 2008 I was wondering if anyone that has NHL Net could possibly youtube any highlights of Mac's first night back for those of us stuck with Center Ice only? It's been pretty frustrating when the games get blacked out, but missing this one has really kicked the Pissed Off Meter to the roof. what? is it not on center ice? puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted March 27, 2008 what? is it not on center ice? Depends. NHLN "liberated" 60 games from the Center Ice schedule this season. If it's on NHLN, then it's blacked out on Center Ice. If you have Center Ice, and your cable provider does not offer NHL Network, you are completely out of luck. If your cable company offers NHLN, you can pay extra for the service, on top of your Center Ice. **looking for alternative, myself. SOL here.

puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted March 27, 2008 is it definitely on NHLN? NHL schedule according to NHL.com, yes. The 'fine point' of NHL Network, re: Center Ice subscribers is that we lose NHLN-US games here. NHLN-CA games are still on Center Ice in the US. I don't know where you are. If you're in Canada, you may be OK. Friday's game, 3/28, is listed -- unfortunately -- as NHLN-US. No Mac for me.

motorcitykid 42 Report post Posted March 27, 2008 And it's Babs who puts the lines together, not Holland. I don't know how Holland's name came out ... dammit. It's my love/hate thing with that guy. He's always on my mind. Anyways, forgive me if I don't jump up and down when the name Downey is mentioned and what he brings to this team. A pure-bred fighter HE IS NOT. I'm not sure which games you've been watching, but Downey doesn't seem to strike much fear in anyone - let alone stand head and shoulders above most other fighters. Pul-leeze. Cmon now. And as for the reuniteing of the Grind Line, i'm going on what Ken & Mick said earlier this week about Babs likely giving them a shot together. But being his first game, who knows. Either way, i'll say it again .. if he can bring a big part of his game back, if only for the rest of this year - he's worth way more than Downey. Stay on topic. HenrikRules40 14 Report post Posted March 28, 2008 (edited) Excuse me, Influenza is indeed viral. I was wrong. It's a common mistake. There's Haemphilus influenza which is a bacteria. Then there's Influenza which is a virus. *such a dweeb* Anyway, yay Mac! Woo! Edited March 28, 2008 by HenrikRules40
