Are you guys crazy? Hasek is the reason why we are still in this with all of the odd man rushes we have given. Usually I'm on the Dom bashing train, but not in this round...he has been SOLID since the start.

The more times we overcome adversities such as these blown leads, the more it will help us later on in the playoffs. I think high pressure situations will help overall and make our guys less nerved by it when it is game 7 in the WCF (hope it doesn't have to get to that, but roll with it). I remember we were down a goal to the 'Canes in game 4? and we slapped in 2 goals in a matter of minutes to win. It'll be like that for us.

god I'm glad these retards have never seen round two of the play offs.

Sure they have... though it was from the clubhouse at the 19th hole. :)

Piss poor defensive effort for the most part. Dom's doing ok, but not great. And I'm not talking about letting in those goals. He just looks a little shaky... starting with that first shot on net that Radishballs almost got past him.

Anyway, let's hope the Wings step it up and buckle down here in the 4rd.

GO WINGS GO!

In other news, the Sens are completely self-destructing. They keep giving up 5-3 PPs; the game is now 4-1 Pens.

I'm convinced by the way they played prior to the playoffs that they were the crappiest team that made the playoff cut. I'd bet about half the teams qualifying for the playoffs this year would sweep them in round 1. Thought they might get it together for the playoffs but I was sorely wrong.

I hope that Babs realizes that Z and Dats have been way to quiet this game so he needs to put them back together. I find that they always need a shift or two to lock in where they don't look very good, and then they dominate. Thus, they haven't done s*** on the PP. Put them together and they'll start to carry the play. Secondary scoring isn't the problem right now, we need some damn primary scoring. Jiri Hudler cannot continue to be our leading scorer.

Also, I'm pretty sure that after that 2nd goal Babs was just praying that they wouldn't score again so that he could settle the boys down over the intermission, so that he could save the timeout for the 3rd. Because he could have called a TO at any time after the 1st or 2nd goal.

GOOOO WIIIINGS!

Edit: Uhhhh, never mind....GO DATS!

when you have 3 or 4 odd man rushes in sight of three minutes, where else would you be if you were the goalie, but in the net trying to survive?

He stays in the net, bad. He leaves the net, also bad. What would you have him do that he hasn't already tonight?

1st goal, weak sauce but like I've always said, I give goalies their 1 weak goal a game

2nd goal, can't really fault him

Then the post saves his butt.

Does that mean he's playing bad? Absolutely not. He's been mostly fine but it's quite a stretch to say "great" let alone bring up any talk of "The Dominator." As I've said about both goalies down the stretch, it's fine that you can't always fault goalies so much for certain goals. Sure, fine, whatever. That is, if you're content with being average. In the playoffs more than ever, you need your goalies to be great and stop those ones that they shouldn't. This is the same stuff that's plagued him and Osgood down the stretch and when we actually start playing teams that can score, it could be the breaking point.
