Gladiator Intro at the Senators Game

I get the idea, but worst execution ever. About 5 seconds into that speech, I'm like "Shut the **** up, dude."

All I know is, when Al the Octopus came out from under the scoreboard in game 1... the place went psycho. (well, by joe louis standards ;D) No lame ass speach in a tuti-fuity outfit there.

Anyone have any good video of that?

If you find one let me know.

I was in section 214.. and its killing me that I didnt pull out the camera phone. I remember saying "Man, playoffs with no octopus? ... where the hell is he!?". I would have had an almost perfect shot of it all. :bag:

Oh man, that might have looked good on paper, but I couldn't watch without wincing. Poor Senators hahaha. I think it was all overdone. Maybe if they had him just make a brief appearance we all still would have gotten the gist. I can't imagine the horror of the PK and PP versions

Awesome video, Oz! I see Darren's back to being the last one off the ice. :)

And having watched every second of that game I have to say that there is no way the crowd sounded that loud on TV. Great to see the Joe rockin'. Here's to rockin' it again Friday!
