Considering the history of the playoff beard, I would say the only rule is to keep it going as long as your team is in playoffs. I mean, if were going to nitpick, the tradition really should be just for the players, not the fans. Haha, I was actually explaining to a girl why I was growing my beard out and she said that she liked it. Another girl guessed that I was in my early twenties yesterday (it was my b-day yesterday) and when I told her I was 31 she couldn't believe it. I always thought that beards made you look older but she said she thought I was younger because it's the "in" thing for young guys to grow beards if they can.
