You can see how disappointed he is that the Avs didn't kick the Wings - but he did at least give us a few compliments. I actually kind of enjoy that he always picks against us (except he did pick us vs the Preds which worried me lol). He does have some manlove for "Nicky" Lidstrom though - always has compliments for him - kind of in a jealous, twisted way. Frozen-Man 144 Report post Posted April 28, 2008 (edited) Not to sound like a "homer" but anyone at this point who isn't picking the Wings to win the West, just flat out doesn't like us or is in denial. Things seem to be falling in place for us (Anaheim is gone, and SJ is two loses away from joining them) and so far we've stayed healthy. We're still only half way from the Finals, and anything can happen, but we seem to be getting better as the playoffs go on. This is true but also you have to look at Dallas who are the reason that Anaheim is gone and that SJ is two losses from joining them. They man-handled SJ last game and have looked impressive this whole post season. Plus with Zubov back (who is one of if not their best player IMO) that makes them stronger. I think that the Wings can beat them but they have beat down some pretty good teams and should not be overlooked. They beat or are beating two teams that are/were better than the the teams we beat and are beating. I think it would be a big mistake to overlook them the way that they are playing.
