VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted May 7, 2008 This is my favorite line in the article: "Babcock suggests that his players, having disposed of Nashville and Colorado, are about to kick it up a gear. They all enjoyed the first two rounds but "now it's time to play." Bad. Ass.

The Noodle 39 14 Report post Posted May 8, 2008 Cool read. And yes it is noticeable about Ozzie's butterfly. He's definitly got a different style now and it has helped him be a solid shot stopper when needed so far in the playoffs. As for what Babs said... ohhh man! I hope he is right cause if that 8-2 beat down on the Av's was not our best then we should be in pretty good shape hehe.

va Winger 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2008 Osgood , quietly, has been a staple for us. He is always so laid back......and gets the job done without to much fanfare. I love to watch him rise to the occasion and stifle the offense of our opponents........................I am so psyched about this series. Depending on who you listen to, most seem to think that Dallas matches up well with us. I beg to differ. The way we are playing, I don't see a team left in the race that can hold a candle ....................I look forward to input this series from the rest of our offensive weapons..IE Huds, Flip, Cleary and all the others who are just waiting to break out. Once this happens........no chance in Hell for the stars............................ I am totally stoked and can't hardly wait for tonight................Like Christmas to a 5 year old
Opie 308 Report post Posted May 8, 2008 The time off was good for our team," says Osgood. "We feel refreshed. We're raring to go." Babcock suggests that his players, having disposed of Nashville and Colorado, are about to kick it up a gear. They all enjoyed the first two rounds but "now it's time to play." "We're prepared, we're rested and we're excited," says Babcock. "We're a focused group, we're a determined group. Only time will tell." While the Stars are deemed the physically toughest of the two teams, Babcock made a prediction involving body-crunching Wings defenceman Niklas Kronvall. Opponents are always looking to see where Kronvall is on the ice, Babcock added. "He's out there hunting you down," he said. "He's looking for you. "He's going to get somebody in this series. I guarantee it."

Sort of "No, I would NOT like to see the Kid's Menu, thank you very much." Honestly, he looks like he's about 12 years old in that photo. I'm rather jealous.
