I'm really surprised he didn't sign with Toronto. The Leafs are the only team that would give him a real shot at big minutes right away. It's really the perfect situation for him, a team in rebuilding stages, in need of some young scoring, and available ice time.

At any rate, what puzzles me about this kid is not only has he never played for Sweden in International competition, but he hasn't ever been offered a roster spot. Makes me wonder if he is some sort of black sheep or something. If he is so good, what's the issue? Also take into consideration that the Wings Euro scouts didn't pick him up any earlier than anyone else did. Something just doesn't seem right. He is 23 and no one has taken a chance in the draft on him. I don't know, just seems shday to me.

No they can't, he wasn't signed by the trading deadline, therefore he cannot play until next season.

And come one, the Stars are a much better team than the Avs, if for no other reason they are much healthier coming into this series than the Avs were coming into the last round.
