betterREDthandead 58 Report post Posted May 14, 2008 http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/playoffs2008...&id=3392173 A solid list of memorable Wings playoff games. 4 of these 10 are on the Champions DVD set. Unlike Dallas, we have enough playoff memories that we don't have to have a loss on our list Covers games from 1936 all the way up to 2008.

RedWings 79 Report post Posted May 14, 2008 Impressive.. Sometimes I think some of these Wings goals really should be worth 2 goals.. Ahh, gotta love the media. this list is dumb... The 8/2 win against an injured and 0-3 down Colorado was nothing big this year.. I'd put Wings/Avs Game 6 in 2002 in an heartbeart over this one. Game 3 against Vancouver was pretty great also (Lidstrom shoots, scores ! from the blueline !!), with a great Stevie Y 2008 milestones will come soon

I loved the 8-2 win and it will be remembered for a long time because of the history between Detroit and Colorado and how well it was done. Detroit absolutely dominated out there and as a Wings fan there is nothing more than I liked seeing as the statement that they gave the remaining teams in the playoffs that day. As Babcock said after that game, "Get ready, we are about to step it up now." I thought this guy is crazy if he thinks we can be more dominant than what we were already, but so far in the Dallas series he has certainly been right.
