sWINGED 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2008 meh...horrible effort tonight. i'm disappointed the wings didn't come out in the 3rd and play any better. even when it was still 2-1 i saw where this was going when the wings absolutely sucked donkey balls the first few minutes of the 3rd. in the big picture, they're still up 2-1...but what happened tonight needs to be nipped in the bud. Hank 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2008 I don't know why I even bother to complain about this anymore, but why can't Sammuelson hit the net? What bothers me even more is that he had 2 goals in 15 games before getting moved to the 4th line. And then what does he do? He scores 2 goals in 1 game. You would think he found his niche right? No, Babcock throws him back on the 2nd line where he can trun the puck over again and again by missing the net wide and watching is sail around the boards and out of the zone. In regards to us losing 3-1 at this point, I'm not surprised. All of Theriens crying paid off and it resulted in a PP goal that moved all the momentum to the Penguins. Even Malkin has woken up. Perhaps if ANY of the three Red Wings standing in the crease would have pressured Hall behind the net, Oz would have had plenty of time to get back in place.
