I live by Ozzie, and the night they won his house got teepeed haha. Anyway today I drove by and some fans had left a stanley cup on his porch with a banner taped to his house. Thought I'd share. If this is supposed to be in the water cooler I apologize.

Why would anyone want to TP his house? And why would fans go to his house? For the love of god, leave the guy and his family alone!

Go to sporting events to talk to him or get his autograph. Don't go on to his property uninvited. Jesus Christ! How classless!

the man and his family are probably so thrilled about winning the cup that these kind of things are welcome. I am sure he is fine with, who are you assume this was looked down upon by ozzie. Step down from your high horse

Good grief, lighten up. It's not like people were knocking on his door and inviting themselves in for dinner or physically destroying his house (i.e. spray paint, eggs, bricks through windows with messages tied on, etc - TP and banners are more easily removed)

The fans are just celebrating with the players and given that they just won the freaking Stanley Cup I'm sure Ozzie has no problem with it.

Don't be such a crack head prick! You don't go to peoples house and TP it!

Who am I to assume Ozzie looks down on people coming onto his property and terrorizing it? Who are you to assume his wife and children are not scared that the mob who call themselves "fans" come to his home unwelcomed?

Get for real. Crackhead!

That's just down right bogue and classless to the fullest extent! Not funny at all!

hahaha. The personal insults top off the stupidity of your post. first of all i doubt they were even home when this happened, second of all I dont think they would be scared by a group of loving red wings fans, who are celebrating the same thing they are.

Get for real crackhead? Maybe you're on crack with your horrible illogical post. Have a good day

The banners and Cup are okay...just so long as they ewren't hanging around his house or anything. But TP? Why would you do that? That's such a hassle to remove and classless.

But yeah, I say in most cases leave his family alone, but I doubt, considering the occasion, he'd care all that much if he WEREN'T TPed.

I can't remember where I read it, but I know that I saw somewhere that it was actually his neighbors who placed the Stanley Cup and banner on his porch. I doubt Ozzie would have cared either way, especially considering his comments and actions at today's parade, but thought it was worth mentioning.

Logic = Entering property without permission is a misdemeanor punishable by 90 days in jail.

Illogical = "I dont think they would be scared by a group of loving red wings fans, who are celebrating the same thing they are."

Don't be stupid and learn Michigan Laws before "celebrating".

*IF* anyone tampered with his mailbox or entered his home = Unlawful entry, is a felony, carrying a maximum five year sentence.

when ozzie files his law suits let me know.

actually, the entire house is not pictured. it is actually the largest on the street with a huge tennis court in the back which he turns into a hockey rink during the winter. also, downtown plymouth is a VERY expensive place to live, especially with a place like that. he bought the property and ripped down the old one. it is VERY nice. haha just so you know.

Famous or not, people have neighbors who are friends, and normally friends are excited for accomplishments of their friends. I would consider winning another Stanley Cup one of those great accomplishments. My little sister just graduated high school a few days ago, and the same exact thing happened to our home, by OUR FRIENDS WHO LIVE AROUND US. Its something for fun, and its not meant to be disrespectful to the property.

You need to lighten up, and stop assuming that just because the man is famous, he isn't friendly with his neighbors like most people are (maybe you're one of the few people who doesn't exchange a word or a wave with your own neighbors, then you couldn't possibly understand).

Another thing I'd like to add... The people on this board use the words class/classless so damn much. Doesn't matter what the topic is, you guys will stick that word in anywhere. People aren't always perfect, and sure as hell, neither are you, so having to consider everything with being classy or classless every time people on this board make a post is just ridiculous.

Hopefully it was his neighbors or someone he actually has a relationship with.

Meant in good fun or not, if I were him I'd be a little weirded out that random fans were hanging out around my house in the night. And by the fact that a picture of my house just showed up on a Wings fan site. Yes Ozzy's a celebrity in Detroit, but he's just so good to his fans, I think his house should be a sacred space, no matter what the context.

The banners are cool I guess, but man TPing is a total pain in the ass to clean up.
