FACT: The earliest know record of ice skates were a primative pair found in Sweden at the bottom of a lake believed to be over 3000 years old.

THEORY: These were actually Nik Lidstroms first skates given to him by Jesus himself.

Isn't it Kris Draper who should be compared to Chuck Norris? He had the exact same beard, plus he scored a goal using his FACE.

Pick a wing...I used Lidstrom in this thread. They ALL could be compared.

Hows this for random...

I found out today that I might be working in Chuck Norris' hometown. Not that it's any honor, Torrance, CA isn't exactly paradise.

Why would Jesus need a pair of ice skates if he could walk on water frozen or in a liquid form?

Question is... Which is greater.... Jesus, LiNdstrom, or Chuck?

Edit:

According to this article the 1st pair of skates were found at the bottom of a lake, but not in Sweden, but Switzerland....

I'm not going to say a word - except lets not try to start a religious war of words here lol. Believe what you want but lets not even start.

Perhaps the Jesus walking on water story originated from the earliest form of hockey? Perhaps he was a Swede who came on down to spread the word on the coolest game on Earth? I mean, the fact is everyone living in the middle east at that time was essentially black, yet paintings of Jesus show a long haired blond (sporting a playoff beard at that)! Uh hum!

Let's extend this using logic, logic as it is often demonstrated here on these forums. Could "turn the other cheek" and "the meek inherit the Earth" simply be parables for not taking dumb penalties?

Think about it people, think about it.
