Sundin still doesn't know what the !@$% he's doing

You miscomprehended his post. He was talking about them being contenders for the cup, not Sundin

Ahh, my bad.

So, yeah, pretty much any surefire contenders for the Cup don't have the money for him...and anybody that does have the money is either not a playoff contender or isn't a postseason threat.

Sundin's better off retiring or going to Sweden than wasting a year with someone like Vancouver or Montreal.

Un ******* believeable. We won the President's Trophy AND the Cup, added a top-notch back-up goalie then turned around and wrapped up our rental player plus added Marian ******* Hossa and people are still bitching about not enough "enforcers".

Christ, that same tired old argument is getting old.

I would agree with ya that playing for the Canucks would be a waste, but not so for the Habs.

Me thinks Sundin on the Habs = Eastern Conference Champs.

Eh, I'm not so sure. The Habs will make it into the playoffs with Sundin, I'm certain of that, but...wait a second, all the teams in the East suck. You're probably not too far off. :lol

Really...Who cares about Sundin, I'm tired of him and his drama ...retire already...f**ken Baby.

Probably should have waived his NTC, eh? I don't think he took a very close look at the market this year. :sly:

Sundin's agent J.P. Barry was quoted in the Toronto Star as saying that his own personal feeling from talking to Mats is that he is going to retire.

Also, Sundin typically organizes pre-training camp skates in Stockholm for Swedish NHLers in early August, but this year is he is not only not organizing it, but won't even show up to skate.

One of Sundin's friends has said that he's not working out at all and is only golfing everyday.

He has a Fiancee, no kids, no home in Toronto; just has had an apartment all these years. He is reported to have 100million dollars in the bank. How different would it be to have 113 million than 100 million? The way he seems to spend money, probably not that different.

He owns a condo downtown, and owned a house out on the bridal path (where the who's-who of Toronto live), which he sold around the time of the lockout. He stills owns the condo.

JP Barry: Yeah, LGW is right...Sundin still doesn't know what the @#$% he's doing.

Okay, so he didn't say that...but he may as well have. The fact that he's "not even close" to making a decision keeps moving him that much closer to Needavacation™ territory. As it stands right now, he's on the same level as Selanne.

If he goes into the season with this and comes back I will lose respect for him, even though I've already lost some. Like Stevie said if you don't know if you want to retire then you should play. I'm starting to get sick of these guys doing this stuff. Either retire or don't. Just make up your damn mind.

He'll start working out later this year....sign with the Wings for minimum around the deadline...win the cup...retire.

Where does a player like Sundin fit on our roster? Who would you take out to fit Sundin? Would he play 3rd or 4th line?

Whats with you guys counting Van out? They don't have a shot are you kidding me? Adding Demitra and Sundin as well as depth like Bernier and Wellwood. How could you count these guys out im counting them in and to go along ways.

I don't typically count any team out! But to legitimately think that Vancouver would be a contender this year even in their own division is a long shot, much less in the incereasingly tough Western Conference. Even if this team landed Sundin, they would be at most on the fence of a making a playoff spot. Remember last season the Northwest had Minnesota, Calgary, and Colorado have playoff spots.

Anything can happen, but don't sit there and say "whats up with you guys" Take a look at the big picture here.

What is this? What is this? New York Rangers wanted him, Detroit as well. Probably half the NHL as well. However, according to the Daily News has Mats Sundin decided for now to extend his career, in a completely different club. He leaves Toronto, ice hockey's capital, where he was larger than the city's mayor, for Vancouver, where he becomes teammates with, among others, the brothers Sedin.

 hehe
