I bet Hossa is really bored out there, I mean.. playing with Cleary and Helm.. lol he's like alone out there.

What ya talking about? Helm has great speed and can pass... Cleary works hard against the boards to free up a puck and draws 2 skaters at times.

Lilja kept the puck in the zone to keep pressure.

Good to see Hossa is a 2 way player.

Would kill to see Hossa, Z, and Pavel on their own lines and not playing together.

Hossa is an elite 2-way player. He's very very good defensively.

That is why I would like to see them separated and playing on 3 different lines.

I don't think that would work, Hossa is the reason why we can break up Z and D this year. The supporting cast is the same as the past two years when it didn't work as well, the goal is that if Hossa does leave after this year that Franzen and Hudler remain consistent and Datsyuk and Z can be broken up permantly but they aren't there yet. Not to mention it's extremely hard to get Hossa his 20 mins a game while he's playing on the "3rd" line unless Babcock shuffles the lines and double shifts him multiple times a game which may really hurt his ability to adjust to the system.

The way the lines are set up now, you can throw any of them out against any line in the NHL, no reason to get too fancy, put Hossa, who's our best scorer out there with our best passer.

I can always wish Heaton.... I would like to see it for a few games... Just to see what would happen

Franzen-Hossa-Hudler / Z-Holstrom-Flip / Pavel-Sammie-Cleary

^^^^

something like this, no specifics though and no order...

Babcock is very lucky to have a team so deep with talent that many line combo's can be created...
