Well they're going to split games, just not as much as Dom and Ozzie did last season. It was pretty much a 1/1 split last year, this year it'll probably be more like 3/1.

So, you're predicting Ozzie to start 62 games? That seems a bit much to me. Personally, I'd like Ozzie to start only 50-55.

I think Babcock or Holland said somewhere that they're trying to get Osgood to start about 50-55 games. That would make it 2/1. Last year was a split because Hasek was injured so much. When Hasek was healthy he played more than Osgood.

Fixed.

yar... I'm in an spunky mood today.

I agree, just felt that his injuries had little to do with management's decisions to go 50/50.

hmm the Wings better score more goals than last year to win around the same amount of games they did! even though i wasnt much of a hasek fan while he was here, he was obviously better than conklin.

If we get '07-'08 Conklin, it would be a push compared to '07-'08 Hasek.

He is better off playing against an Eastern Conference team in which he is accustom to facing vs. a Western Conference team.

Haha, I was just gonna post that. But then I thought, well its just as likely that Eastern Conference players would know Conklin's tendencies, so its not necessarily a good thing.

does this mean they are going to spilt the games like last season, cause i dont think that would be a bad idea.

Why do you think Conklin signed here for so little? He'll get more playing time here than anywhere else.

Where did he play last year and for what team?

I am well aware of his credentials...

Teams have changed dramatically since he played for Edmonton...

Conklin played for the Penguins last year.
