I was at this game and the hit that precipitated the Bourque retaliation was 100% clean so Rene was obviously just trying to stand up for a teammate (Langkow IIRC) who got his ass handed to him. So many PP's in the game yet so little actual offense.

I agree, great hit, the retaliation was not necessary, but welcome to hockey. A 9 minute powerplay made me puke up in my mouth a bit.
