j.hoop 64 Report post Posted October 30, 2008 (edited) im not gonna predict this time around. its been very painful watching us give up leads, and ive been very anti to the arguement that our lack pf physicality is losing us games, but im starting to believe it. 2 or 3 checks a night is NOT good enough, i see so many chances for hits and we just skate on by. the sheer number of penalties is disgusting too. this just isnt the team i know and love, and when i see that team again, ill be back for predictions. a simple win that is by more then 1 goal is all i ask, f*** it, even just a solid 60 minutes, win or loss is ok with me. I don't believe in most of the superstitions either, but respect other peoples' right to do so. I do wear a silver octopus pendant named Stanley (every day since 1998, never take it off), but they win whether I wear it or not, so I am not sure if it actually works or not. People like you are never happy or satisfied. You just replace those things with something new to be pessimistic about. I.E. I didn't like the Windsor Knot in Babcocks tie last night...I can't stand the yellow underside of Hossa's gloves...Why can't all the Red Wings players buy GM cars so the economy in Detroit would be better off...when am I ever gonna get laid...etc. People like you don't get happy, they find something new to be pissed off about. As great as these players are, they are still human and will make mistakes. They will go through slumps and play lower than their ability. You don't seem to understand that. Sidenote: Gofigure that the team playing the Penguins last year looked like a well-oiled machine...they had over a 100 games under their belt at that point. hillbillywingsfan 794 Report post Posted October 30, 2008 american sport fans generally seem a bit lost and blind if you can use that word... typical comments like "it's only 10 games, they will become good later just be patience" is just hilarious... and everyone here is like "WINGS WINNNNNN OMG 2 EASY 14-3, even though its sarcasm its still low sense of humour" when sharks in fact is on a hot streak, awesome coach, good D, good offense, good goaltending, wings only have good offense and a good coach (but babcock doesnt seem to be able to get the D going?) and when considering these facts you guys still think wings will win... haha some people just keep surprise me... when its only 9 games into the season yeah they will get better....posts like these make me laugh and ever other wings fan on this board. if you don';t like the "low" sense of humor then crawl back under your rock. i think i agree with my man harold....i vote troll...your posts have always been troll like Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
