YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted October 31, 2008 Ummm, have you ever seen defending Stanley Cup champs? Most of the time they look even worse than this. Yes, somehow that is possible. You would think the Wings would have been there too many times not to fall into that hole but it seems we are. I'll keep it saying it all night long, "this could get really ugly" and "this better be a f'n wake up call to this team" They also usually lose several key players from their cup run. Seems most of the goals we have givin up this year have been due to either really bad coverage or a turnover. Hmm...and now another PK. I have NEVER been one to blame refs or point fingers at refs but the Wings are getting some horribly weak calls in some of these games. Let alone I've seen some blatant penalties not get called... like that hook on Flip!!! (P.S. I didn't actually see the Sammy penalty. Was it a good call?)
