I finally caught up on DVR.

What a slapper by Dats! He had that stick cocked for what seemed like forever. His slapshot, much like his wrister, is surprisingly good for how relatively little he utilizes it.

I'm amazed by how calm and patient most of the Detroit players look with the puck. Z, Dats, Franzen, Flip, Hossa, Lids, Kronwall. Never seem panicked or rushed, and always seem to come away with the puck.

that was a sweet little pass from Hudler to Franzen too. Most guys would've thrown it on net being in that close, but he had the presence to make the great pass for the wide open net. They gave up two, but this team is looking good.

Ya, I agree. I think Filppula is a good fit with Zetterberg and Franzen. Filppula is a playmaker, and I think he can perform on a line with guys like them.
