Legendary D In 03 50 Report post Posted November 11, 2008 Just a warning for anyone thinking about getting customized jerseys...basically anything with a player's name on the back: the lettering isn't done individually like on an actual high-quality jersey. They have them done on templates and then just sew the entire template to the back of the jersey. If you're not a stickler for 100% genuine type stuff, no big deal, but if you are, this will most likely drive you NUTS.
OsGOD 3 Report post Posted November 11, 2008 How so? Read right above me about what LDI03 said... they create and kick out s***ty jerseys. My chinese Ovechkin one i paid $45 beats the snot out of my friend he paid $180 for NHL.com. They are just a rip off site.
VladyIBELIEVE16 257 Report post Posted November 11, 2008 That's why you just buy the authentic jersey and have sportsk do the lettering.

12Newf 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2008 That's why you just buy the authentic jersey and have sportsk do the lettering. my buddy is a hardcore leafs fan and he just spent $120 at clubhouse getting SCHENN on his jersey. i think he paid about $110 for the CCM replica. he got screwed pretty hard. hankzet40 233 Report post Posted November 11, 2008 Bit the bullet and bought a blank replica Winter Classic jersey. Since I'll probably put Zetterberg on it I wanted to wait to see whether he'd be an assistant that day plus I didn't want the cheap lettering. Hopefully the place I go to for customizing doesn't have any issues with doing this jersey.
VladyIBELIEVE16 257 Report post Posted November 11, 2008 Sportsk is a reputable jersey seller as well as name "installation"...I have never worried about using sportsk for lettering and I know loads of people from LGW use them too.
VladyIBELIEVE16 257 Report post Posted November 11, 2008 What ticks me off is they don't have 46 authentics left for the winter classic jersey GRRRRRRR.

Zion 93 Report post Posted November 11, 2008 Thank you for posting this. I just used my nearly year-old Shop NHL.com card because I hate them and got a shirt that cost me $0.35 after shipping. Nice! Question: will we be able to get Winter Classic jerseys from your Chinese website? THAT would be excellent.

Philly is even going back to the white template on orange jersey look.
