edicius 3,269 Report post Posted November 16, 2008 Too bad, so sad. Wishing Beauchemin a good recovery. Wishing the Ducks spiral into oblivion.
egroen 384 Report post Posted November 16, 2008 Well, they were hoping to get Bobby Ryan in somehow.
The Mule 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2008 Beauchemin is a hell of a player, but I hope this hurts the Ducks.

akustyk 84 Report post Posted November 16, 2008 sucks for him. he's a decent D-man. hope he'll be fine and recover.
eva unit zero 271 Report post Posted November 16, 2008 Feel bad for the guy...but honestly given his contract he's better for the Ducks injured 6 months. He's overpaid as is, and his cap hit is going to double at the end of the season if not more. Best part is...Anaheim could really use a guy like Ken Klee right now, and they are paying more this season for Klee than they will for healthy days from Beauchemin. Mathieu Schneider is gone, and TODD MARCHANT IS STILL ON THE ROSTER!

That's nothing for a defenseman capable of playing thirty minutes a night.
akustyk 84 Report post Posted November 16, 2008 Beauchemin's cap hit is $1.65 million. That's nothing for a defenseman capable of playing thirty minutes a night. agreed. and I also happen to remember Beauchemin playing strong minutes against Wings in 2007 playoffs. he's not flashy but pretty sucessful and you didn't see Datsyuk taking the puck away of him with ease like from Scott *cough* All Star *cough* Niedermayer... Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted November 17, 2008 Alright, so Anaheim's defence is really weak now. I hope Pronger and Niedermayer enjoy playing 35+ minutes a night. Hopefully Beauchemin is fine, and hopefully Ryan does well, but the Ducks can spiral into oblivion.
