Uncle Danny 155 Report post Posted November 21, 2008 This Craig Simpson fella is alright. I'd listen to him again. Agreed. But what happened to Mick and Larry? They mentioned earlier that Simpson was a "last minute" substitution.

commadore183 103 Report post Posted November 21, 2008 Agreed. But what happened to Mick and Larry? They mentioned earlier that Simpson was a "last minute" substitution. Mick doesn't do west coast trips due to his dietary needs, I believe (he has a problem with wheat gluten that he needs special utencils and such). Larry's daughter was involved in a car accident in Detroit and he decided to go and be with her. She's expected to be okay.

Larry's daughter was involved in a car accident in Detroit and he decided to go and be with her. She's expected to be okay. Mick has Celiac disease- can't digest gluten, which is in essentially everything. Think of it like lactose intolerance, but for anything containing most grains. Absolute pain to live with, and hard to actually eat away from places you know, thus his absence on road trips.

Thanks, I couldn't remember what the disease was, just that it involved gluten. Sucks that we don't see him on more road trips (I believe he makes a few of them that are relatively close to Detroit), but I can deal with his absence. YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted November 21, 2008 Ehh Yuck. Bad goal. Bad defense. I won't complain though. That was really only the first or second time that the Oilers have been able to walk in like that, which was not the case up until about a week ago.
commadore183 103 Report post Posted November 21, 2008 Wings need to respond now to hold off the pressure from the Oilers. A goal or five would help.
