Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 NESN says we're getting outhit 7-1. Probably because we haven't let go of the puck since the opening face off.
The Mule 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 NESN says we're getting outhit 7-1. The Bruins have been physical early, but we're outperforming and outworking them.

terri27 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 NESN says we're getting outhit 7-1. Did you tell them to shut it. Is anyone watching FSN? I wanted to know if the score board in the upper left corner was off for them too.
Pskov Wings Fan 71 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 NESN says we're getting outhit 7-1. Good thing you cannot score on a hit but you can if you shoot on goal.
The Mule 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 (edited) Unless I'm mistaken, the Bruins have still yet to register a shot on goal. EDIT: Scratch that. Wheeler gives the Bs the lead on a defensive lapse. Edited November 30, 2008 by The Mule

YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 (edited) And they manage to score first. Never said they wouldn't. Its not like this isnt typical Detroit - carry the play, carry the puck, get the shots, give up the goal. Edited November 30, 2008 by YoungGuns1340
terri27 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 Well that just sucked!! Dang nabit! Common Wings, don't let them win. Grrrrrrr, knock 'em down and get that puck.
YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 The Wings get scored against, and who does Babcock throw out there? Filppula, Hudler, and Kopecky. Give me a freakin break.

RWK23 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 That's just frustrating. The Wings had dominated the period up to that point. Ugh.
ZwedishWing 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 So typical, they score on their first shot. That can't be a good sign.
edicius 3,269 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 Never said they wouldn't. Its not like this isnt typical Detroit - carry the play, carry the puck, get the shots, give up the goal. *nod* Exactly. Whenever I see SOG tallies like 6-0 Detroit, it always seems like the opposition scores on their first or second SOG. Certainly doesn't help our tenders' stats at all, that's for sure. We can score on Fernandez, though. Just gotta buckle down.
Pasha13 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 no joke...this is turning into our usual gig now in the first period...the better team in the stats department, but the loser on the scoreboard
