Doc Holiday 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 They have three shots actually guys. But Conklin looks like s***.
Guest Shoreline Report post Posted November 30, 2008 If Hossa finishes off Kessel back at the other end of the play he doesn't make it as fast as he did to the front of the net.
ComradeWasabi 109 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 The Boston announcers are massive homers. I have heard nothing but Bruin love for the last 10 minutes of hockey.
YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 I cant believe how many second-chance shots that we give up when the puck is a foot or two from our goaltenders.
VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 So what do the Wings have to do to get back to where they were last season? Switch the lineup? Trade players? Inspirational speech? What the hell.

Guest Shoreline Report post Posted November 30, 2008 Kronner lets Lucic behind him and Lucic almost scored. What the f***, guys?

YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 I'm sorry, but ******* fire McCrimmon already. Savard is WIDE open in the slot. What the f*** kind of system are them employing in our own zone? Whatever it is, its not working. In fact, its embarassing.
BlueMonk 102 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 Gotta say its pretty lame when people criticize the "style" of a winning hockey team. If they're winning, they're winning.....it means they're doing something right. I mean, Wings get criticized all the time for playing "boring" hockey, and thats just as bad. If you gotta say it, then say it. But I think it's lame to pretend that all forms of hockey are equally exciting.
ShanahanMan 473 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 The Boston announcers are massive homers. I have heard nothing but Bruin love for the last 10 minutes of hockey. Should it be otherwise? Not much to praise at this point.
VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 Hope you're enjoying that contract Ralf! Not to jump too badly at the Wings, but nobody is playing the way they should. In fact, I can't think of anyone except Hossa who has played consistently well all season. I've seen very little brilliance from Datsyuk, Zetterberg, or Lidstrom, either. It's like someone told them to take a season off.

ComradeWasabi 109 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 Should it be otherwise? Not much to praise at this point. Even before they scored the first goal, it was all Bruins. I'm just saying they're unusually homerish tonight. Even Baldy McGuire wasn't this bad on Wednesday night when the Wings were down.
YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 (edited) Not to jump too badly at the Wings, but nobody is playing the way they should. In fact, I can't think of anyone except Hossa who has played consistently well all season. I've seen very little brilliance from Datsyuk, Zetterberg, or Lidstrom, either. It's like someone told them to take a season off. Zetterberg has been better than Hossa. Hes visible every shift. Hossa is off for 4-5 games, on for 5, off for 5, on for 5. He was fairly absent in his previous 4 games or so up until last night. Edited November 30, 2008 by YoungGuns1340
uk_redwing 495 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 Downey scored for GR... Wings are doing well. Getting beaten in every aspect that they could be being beaten in.

Statts 4 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 Lucic gonna be one of those players I f***in hate, but would love to have on the Wings.
VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 I really have a nagging doubt that it's not McKrimmon. I have a hard time believing that all these excellent veteran defenseman can just start sucking because of a new "system." You'd think if it wasn't working they'd instinctively play the way they're used to. But firing McKrimmon couldn't hurt, even if it won't help.
The Mule 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 So what do the Wings have to do to get back to where they were last season? Switch the lineup? Trade players? Inspirational speech? What the hell. 1. Hard work. 2. Darren Helm. 3. Fire Brad McCrimmon.
Rivalred 630 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 Find it a bit comical that the Wings did not allow a shot for almost 10 minutes and then let Boston scores 2 goals on 2 shots. Eh, changes need to be made.
Doc Holiday 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 Sorry but Kronwall not knowing how to play a 2 on 1 is not the ******* coaches fault. That is common sense.
