edicius 3,269 Report post Posted December 13, 2008 Lebda with a goal,Fil getting PP-time & the Devils beating the Rangers? What's next? Bettman apologizing to Avery and lifting the ban immediately? I'm still in shock that the Rags were getting pounded that badly by the Devils. Devils are blowing their lead though. It's a 5-3 game now. Caps are winning 3-0 though. Did Green make it back into the lineup tonight?

Krystal 41 Report post Posted December 13, 2008 These Dallas color guys are killing me They started out tonight saying if Dallas put themselves in the box tonight they'd be "committing suicide" and were giggling about the first goal going "Of all the offensive power on this team... LEBDA scores.." Do they hang with us on LGW or something?

I dont doubt it, no offence to Hully, but looking at what Mike Smith is doing in Tampa, and how bad Turco has been, the only really good Hull made, could've worked more in Dallas' favor had they not done it.. And they're funny. I think they do read these boards, BTW.

LEBDA scores.." Do they hang with us on LGW or something? I noticed that too. The Dallas play-by-play is pretty damn entertaining, gotta say. You know, watching the Stars play, I'm amazed they're in the WC cellar. This isn't a bad team. Hell, if they played in the East, they'd probably be at least top 10. I know we have a *cough* tendency to blame everything on goaltenders here...but is Turco genuinely the catalyst for the fall of the Stars?

edicius 3,269 Report post Posted December 13, 2008 2 assists already Rock and roll, bruddah. Guess that's clinched which jersey you're getting, eh? I dont doubt it, no offence to Hully, but looking at what Mike Smith is doing in Tampa, and how bad Turco has been, the only really good Hull made, could've worked more in Dallas' favor had they not done it.. Hull just never came across to me as the decision-maker type. A mouthpiece, yes. But not someone you could trust with roster decisions. Honestly, I think he'd do a much better job in the Stars marketing department (or even just the LEAGUE marketing offices). And am I the only one that is really bothered by those lit-up signs on the boards? Dunno if they're OLED displays or what, but they're really distracting because they don't blend. They don't seem to have any chemistry at all this season, and I wonder if Tippett will take the fall... secretly I think Hull may be part of the problem in Dallas, but I have no basis for saying that, really. I am betting we get him in Austin next Fall, in charge of the new farm team here.
