Did anyone else realize that Conklin could potentially start in all 3 winter classics with the injury to Osgood?

He either has luck or he has someone deep in the NHL organization that gives him tips on which team to move to xD

Since Conk already has the experience of 2 recent outdoor games, I don't see why not go with him even if Oz was healthy.

If you told me Conklin was going to play in the third Winter Classic before he was a Red Wing and we knew which teams were playing, I'd probably be pissed.

Somehow he finds his way in there I guess.

Ozzy should be healed up by Jan 1st, or I imagine we would have called someone up. 6-7 games seems like too long to chance not having 2 goalies. It will be interesting to see who gets the nod.

Anyone know what kind of extra gear they will be wearing, are they wearing hats under the helmets etc, it will probably be very cold etc... what if it starts snowing, will they use the zambonis alot more? (I didn't watch last years winter classic let alone the hertiage classic)

But, oh yeah. Osgood should definetly play. I don't really care who wins or anything to be honest with you. It will just be an amazing experience. And I can't think of anyone better to put in besides Osgood.
