I think Lils was the most improved out there. No stupid plays, played a good defensive game, and didn't get scored on while he was out on the 5 on 3.

Hossa was PIST at the last half of the 3rd, wonder what caused it, and can we have an opposing player do it in the first next time..lol

Good game by the team overall, maybe it was the Wings way of saying Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays?

I posted there for all of a couple weeks a few years ago. When I was told me opinion didn't matter because I was a Wings fan, I got slightly annoyed. When the forum administrator PM'ed me to tell me that I can expect that kind of treatment being a Wings fan on their board, I left and didn't go back.

I had a lot more luck on the Preds board a couple years ago, but now I strictly stick to LGW.

Funny, that's exactly what I want us to do to the Blues.

Their fans are the turds of the NHL, though. Just look at their record in the last few seasons. I hope they continue to suck for a very, very long time.

LOL -- exactly. Looks like the Blues are well on their way to enjoying a second decade as the Wings' *****.

That guy truly represents the typical Blues fan: couldn't care less about the score, or even the game of hockey. As long as the Blues goon it up, rack up the PIMs, and leave the other team with "blood spurting from noses and ears" (as Blues fans love to say), Blues fans are perfectly happy. (I lived in St. Louis for a few God-forsaken years, and I know whereof I speak. They still worship Reed Low down there like he's some kind of God. Doesn't matter that the guy could hardly skate.) This no doubt goes a long way towards explaining why their team has never achieved a damn thing in its 40+ year history.

Ask Sheldon Souray and Jared Boll what Lilja could do in a fight, and then come back at me with this David Backes crap. That poor kid is just trying to be tougher than what he really is.

Kind of like Blues fans. Nothing but a bunch of tin-horn thugs worshipping a last place team that doesn't appear to be improving at all. Who knows, maybe in 20 years the Blues will have a better team than Detroit. I guess based on that, you still have some hope.
