Worst Hockey Logos

I always thought the Stars 3'rd jersey logo was absolute failure. What is that supposed to have to do with hockey? Some sort of bull that is seeing stars?? Like he got hit over the head maybe? Or perhaps a connect-the-dots kinda thing? Pure capitalism...

The jerseys they had before the current style were atrocious as well. The new style is actually very nice...

It's nickname is "Mooterus" for a reason. Not too hard to figure out. :D

IMO Jokerit's is even worse. A logo with a winking jester? Seriously?

As a HIFK fan when I was living in Helsinki, yeah, Jokerit's logo is pretty weak.

But seriously Jokerit = Jokers, which does have a lot of potential for good logos. I think that Tappara, however, has the best logo in SM-liiga, hands down. It's just a big battleaxe!

Tappara's is pretty sweet. HIFK's is actually kinda cool. TPS is classy too.

The only one I truly can't stand is the Minnesota Wild logo.

It's not JUST the logo, though. It's the colors.

I've always considered it one of the best logos in the league :P

I literally only realized this season that it's a bear's head...

Awesomeness

I think it's more the colors than anything. Their home jerseys make me want to claw my eyes out. -.-

I'll add another recommendation for Rhodent's Bush League Hockey site. His take on the Danbury Trashers:

http://www.bushleaguefactor.com/teams/dan.asp

After all this time, it's really hard to get me to believe a logo represents a new low in sports logos. Bears on skates? Yawn. A gorilla walking out of a space portal? Been there, done that. Weather phenomena with facial expressions? Ho hum. After a while, I begin to wonder if I can find something unique to say about each logo when they all look the same.

But once in a blue moon, a logo comes along that tears through all that has come before it the way a habanero pepper tears through your digestive tract. And with pretty much the same effect, I might add. The sheer audacity of such logos is truly awe-inspiring. The thought that such a logo was not merely designed but actually approved after its creation boggles the mind. Such a logo has philosophical ramifications, as it brings the very notion that we have evolved above and beyond other species into question. Such a logo may even be a convincing argument that there is no god.

Some truly hideous bush league special nights jerseys here:

The Richmond Renegades 'Flower-Power' and Adirondack IceHawks Christmas jerseys are particularly impressive. You can also kind of see the original anthromorphic demonic cotton ball logo for the Lubbock Cotton Kings if you scroll down far enough.

Hate their logo and jersey.

The color scheme is just deplorable in my opinion. Maybe it is just too obvious that they are a "new" team.

lmao...me too. I don't understand why they didnt just keep the green home jerseys. The colour they wore was actually unique and didn't look like Christmas.

That site is missing the best so-ugly-it-is-beautiful jersey ever: The Milwaukee Admiral's "Bob Uecker Night" jersey:

Within game-worn jersey collectors, these gems are considered real "trophies"!!!

Definitely. Five shillings to the man who finds a Macon Whoopee jersey for sale. Ten shillings if its customizable

And twenty quid if it's the Holy Grail of Bush League special edition jerseys- the bright pink Macon Whoopee Camellia Festival jersey that allegedly caused a players' revolt and walk-out over the utter Barbie girliness that they were being asked to wear.
