I'm really pissed that the game didn't get to the shootout, because I was wondering who Babcock would pull out of the hat to do the shooting. I assume that Hudler would have been one, but who would the other two have been?

Most likely Hossa and Franzen

lol at the guys that stick up for ozzie.. i mean do you watch the games this year? the guy reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeks! call it bad bounces or bad luck (every game he plays) if that makes you happy with him in net, but I for one cringe whenever the other team is in our zone (whether its columbus or sj).

good night!

You're funny. Ever thought of taking this act on the road?

Very disappointing loss. Z gets hurt, we were w/out Stuart, Dats and Lids already and the 2nd goal went off Rafalski. Opportunity missed to get closer to San Jose.

No Pasha, Lidstrom, Stuart, Zata (out after 5 minutes in), no cap space to bring anyone up therefore a short bench and we still should have won if the correct call is made on that trip on Cleary in the dying moments of the 3rd. We still pulled out a point with all of this going against us. This is the only game the Poo Jackets win against us this season so let them enjoy it.

I dunno... I just get the sense something was missing from tonight's game.

Since the Wings were not able to pull off the win, I am now rooting for Columbus to beat one of Edmonton, Vancouver or Anaheim for the #8 seed in the playoffs, by one point. I wouldn't mind this having some lasting implications for Bettman.

Hmm, yeah. From my seat in section 118 it just felt like these werent same Wings. Chili without the hot sauce, pizza without the pepperoni.

Can't put my finger on it.

My guess would have been:

Huds

Hossa

Holmstrom

I know the last one would have been a shocker. But Holmstrom has some moves ;)

It was a good game, lots of action, weird bounces. But I am still disgusted. The whole "suspension" thing still royally pisses me off.

Furthermore, I was at the game tonight and the CBJ fans were just flat out rude. Shouting obscenities at my wife and I, making comments about how they dislike Wings fans. Never have I heard so many fans ***** about offsides being called, either.

I had no idea Zetterberg was hurt, either. Guess that makes sense now. Glad to hear about his signing presser tomorrow. :)

Really can't say anything bad about Osgood. Going by the replay (dumb night classes...) he didn't play overly spectacular but he made some solid saves. Just unlucky on the last two.

The worst is that we've lost 3 in a row. :( I just hope we don't mess around with the stars on thursday.

The Red Wings are pulling the best media ploy this morning possible, but I don't think it's a false report either...

Nick Lidstrom might be getting surgery. This announced after a divisional loss with him out. I love this ploy by the Wings, but unfortunately they're not lying I'm afraid.

Wings need help...

Also, it's not Ozzie's fault; however, Conklin is plain better this year.

Additionally speaking, Kopecky's lack of dropping the gloves or visor for that matter at the end of the 2nd was a real indicator of the type of team Wings have become. He had a key chance to take their BEST defenseman off the ice for 5 minutes in the 3rd with a fight. Kopecky is done.

My thoughts. Hard fought game by the Wings without 3 star players and a solid D-Man. Nash is a beast. The loss was NOT Ozzie's fault. He had some good saves throughout the game. Kopecky IS a *****, I would have taken a couple punches to get the oppsing team's #1 D-Man off the ice for five minutes, why can't he? Lastly, you can't win them all, Wings still come away with a point, but dammit I had a 3 team parlay going Bruins-Sharks-Wings at 4X odds and my team fails me. That's what I get for a heart bet .

probably because they were already two short on the bench

yeah you pull they're #1 D-man, but now Babs will have to play three short and Hitch is only down one - it's a good trade if you have a full bench expecially if you have D & Z for the offence, but we didn't

1st and 2nd line were double shifting for the most part anyhow... moot point

Kopecky playing a regular shift... is pretty much playing 3 men down.

What did I tell you ladies and gentleman, Chelios = PP

And if PP is our enforcer that must mean Chelios=enforcer?

Well,Val is 2 for 2.

The other one was a penalty shot though.
