I heard Mickey say 12:30 and checked NBC's site = 12:30. What's up with that? It's definitely 12:30. The NBC contract was only recently signed. Part of the understanding was that specific showcase games would be moved to more NBC friendly times. Hence the originally scheduled time (3:00pm) being posted on some sites that apparently haven't been updated yet. Stick with NBC's quoted time.

Yzersyukstromberg 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2009 Thanks to the NBC 'flex' game, the Wings get to travel to Pittsburgh to start their road game against the Penguins only 18 1/2 hours after they completed their dismantling of the Oilers. Hopefully this won't hurt us at all, as the Pens were lucky enough to have today off. Looking forward to a nice, early game tomorrow though...

Hopefully this won't hurt us at all, as the Pens were lucky enough to have today off. Looking forward to a nice, early game tomorrow though... It could be worse..... They could be playing the Sharks or Ducks..... Besides, Pittsburgh is only 4 1/2 hours or so from Detroit by car.....
