Bloody hell, they better not call Kopy for goalie interference. Not only could he not stop, but he was also pushed into him.

You HAVE to call Kopecky for goaltender interference on that. The calls we've gotten have been weak, and us Wings fans know that Kopecky has no balance, but the refs don't.

Maybe you have to given the calls that have already been made, but I wouldn't have made some of the calls they did in the first. Then there wouldn't have been a "need" to call make that call.

I really didn't see a big push on that one. He was kind of pushed a wee bit, but it wasn't that hard. I think it was a borderline call, but I can see why it was called.

Someone's stick getting shoved into your core muscles by 200+ pounds of mostly muscle will do all sorts of wonder for your balance.

I think that is a better defense against that call then the pushed into the net defense. It was a make up call due to poor calling of the first. Something that has been going on all year.

The worst was when Hossa got goalie interference for being pushed into the goalie and then right off the faceoff they called a non-existent high stick to make it 4 on 4 hockey. Don't remember what game that was though.

You have to do everything you can to avoid the goalie. Kopecky got pushed before he was on top of Rinne. He had time to get out of the way. Its homerism to look at it any other way. We'd be calling for X players head had he been pushed, skated a few feet, and then clocked Conks in the head as he fell.
