mjlegend 155 Report post Posted February 17, 2009 Frank *****'s name made me giggle a little. Same with Paul Ysebaert (probably came up at the wrong time with the Wings to establish his own identity). Just something about the name "Wayne Van Dorp" also made me think he was never going to be anything but a minor league journeyman.
miller76 463 Report post Posted February 17, 2009 I always get a kick out of John Oduya. (NJ) a couple notables that haven't been mentioned: Adam Foote (COL) Jeff Finger (TOR) Jay Beagle (WAS) Brad 'likes' Boyes (STL) Dan Boyle (just sounds contagious) (SJ) Ben Lovejoy (PIT) Milan Hejduk (hey duke!) (COL) Matt Carle (reminds of the term 'hot carl') (PHL) Kyle Greentree (CAL) Michael Funk (BUF) Jonas Hiller (to close to Hitler) (ANA) Travis Moen (sounds like a faucet) (ANA)
ComradeWasabi 109 Report post Posted February 17, 2009 I always have to chuckle when the announcers say "Zidlicky". Marek Zidlicky. Ahahaha. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be pronounced Zidlit-sky (like Kopecky) but none of the broadcasters actually do it.
Ms_Hockey 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2009 I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be pronounced Zidlit-sky (like Kopecky) but none of the broadcasters actually do it. Probably. That just makes it worse! Haha, I'm embarrassed FOR him.

BeeRYCE 2 Report post Posted February 17, 2009 In all sports, there is one guy I feel sorry for... RUDY ***. He is a pretty good basketball player, but will probably never be able to sell any jerseys, aside from people maybe wearing them at home games.
