Take a look at this video, you will see Ovechkin coming pretty close (to close for comfort, especially if it were my teams franchise players) to decapitating both himself and Mike Green. Tears and puking would probably ensue, followed by a heart attack and or a stroke. I don't care if God himself is controlling the door -- I would still pass out. If the cart's going fast enough the door won't retract in time and you would hit your head. As you can see in the video- Ovi has to pull his head back to avoid hitting it. He obviously has more than enough time to do that based on how slowly he had to react in the video, so it's not amazingly dangerous.
