Ozzie30 170 Report post Posted March 19, 2009 The Puck Stops Here Since the beginning of February, the Detroit Red Wings have the most points in the league. They have a 16-6 record (with two losses counted as regulation ties) to give them 34 points. No other team has more than 31 points in that time frame. I would use that as a strong argument that the Red Wings are in a very solid position for the Stanley Cup playoffs

edicius 3,269 Report post Posted March 19, 2009 I knew NHL Home Ice was full of it when they tried to say that Pittsburgh was the best team since the beginning of February. Clement was stumbling all over himself to hop back on the Pens bandwagon.
Nightfall 871 Report post Posted March 19, 2009 (edited) I knew NHL Home Ice was full of it when they tried to say that Pittsburgh was the best team since the beginning of February. Clement was stumbling all over himself to hop back on the Pens bandwagon. Pens were 14-7 Wings were 16-6 I think the Pens were the 2nd hottest team since Feb. I thought Thorne and Clement were Avs fans. Besides, the ultimate Pens/Crosby fans are on Versus. Edited March 19, 2009 by Nightfall
akustyk 84 Report post Posted March 19, 2009 Besides, the ultimate Pens/Crosby fans are on Versus. disagree. because it's not about Pens. it's about Sindy. the rest of this team really only matters when Sindy can be referenced. but yeah... Versus is incredible in shoving Crosby down the throats...
Barrie 900 Report post Posted March 20, 2009 16-6 was our record in the 1998 and 2008 Playoffs.
OsGOD 3 Report post Posted March 20, 2009 (edited) Nice article, but why do we need an article to make us feel "good" about a team that is the defending champions and 1st overall in the league at the moment? shouldn't that alone be enough to smile about? kinda like if the Windsor Spitfire fans were bitching about their team after they clinched a playoff birth BEFORE the all-star game...
