It the Wing's cant beat that lineup we are terrible. The 2nd line has two guys I have barely even heard of. I guess thats why the game gets played on the ice and not on paper...they are obviously doing something right..they just uspet the Sharks !!

It's a pretty good lineup. I mean, not as good as ours - depth wise we have them covered pretty well - but the top two lines on both teams are beyond solid.

I am feeling good about the Wings chances b/c when it gets down to it (emphasis on third line) we have them beat hands down. And that - the third and 4th lines (as well as PP) is why I am loving Detroit's chances in this series.

I'm going to assume that Zetterberg's line and the Zetterberg-Lidstrom unit will go up against Getzlaf's line. But I wonder if Babs has a trick up his sleeve for those three. Kind of like how many thought Bowman was crazy at first for sending out Lidstrom-Murphy against the Legion of Doom line, but those two just ended up baffling them with their puck-moving skills. I don't know, maybe Pav and Z back together again?

Maybe Filppula's line will play against their 2nd scoring line. ANA will probably want their 3rd line out every time Datsyuk's line is out there. Hopefully Helm will lay out mustache.

Any roster changes anticipated? Will they stick with Parros? I know that a number of teams don't dress enforcers when playing the Red Wings, but the playoffs might be different.

Anaheim's defense is probably better than wings, but wings have better forwards

The ice will have Lidstrom, Rafalski, Niedermeyer and Pronger ... sucks to be a forward out there

i honestly haven't watched the ducks enough to have a solid grip on their defense...but it's hard for me to think that if--and the emphasis being on the "if" here--every wings defenseman plays at or near his potential the ducks blueliners top ours. that is,

if rafalski, kronner and stuart keep the turnovers under control (which we've seen that they can do, but obviously don't always)

if kronwall and stuart (and to a degree ericcson) play a strong physical game

if lidstrom is his typical near-perfect-on-coverage self

and maybe a few others...if all of these things happen i still think we've got one of the best if not the best defensive corps in the league. obviously that's a lot of if's, though.
