Is it just me or did anybody else watch that clip and see Niedermayer tying up Holmstrom and Homer kind of losing his balance and his left arm going back. Did Holmstrom even know that Wiz was there? I'm thinking no.

Not really. Both involved the puck hitting the player, but the pronger incident was a lot scarier. As much as I hate Pronger, and as much as he's a bag of duche, I'm glad he's still playing hockey and not six under.

Best of luck to Wiz. I'm worried about that injury, as it seems to be rather serious.

Yeah, but they are claiming Homer's elbow was deliberate. And some are calling for tape of it to be sent to the league. Oy ******* vey!!! Seriously, I don't even think Homer knew Wiz was there. Doesn't excuse an errant elbow as you have to be responsible. But insinuating that Homer is a "cheap shot artist" and that that was a deliberate elbow? I dunno, sounds like more than a stretch to me. I dont know if im blind but there was no elbow at all. the replays on tsn show no elbow jst the puck hitting him in the side of the chest.

Scratch that. FSD replay shows pretty clearly it's the shot hitting him in the chest that's the issue. Looks like it's definitely a broken rib(s) + punctured lung. He's on the way to the hospital via ambulance now. Probably pretty safe to say he's done.

Sucks that Wiz was injured, he's one of the few ducks I actually rather like and respect, I do hope nothing is wrong with him and he can continue to play soon
